Electronic information department

The functions of the department:

·         To introduce automate library, bibliographic and information systems in the library

·         To develop, maintain and service the databases of the library collection maintenance

·         To administer an introduction of LIBIS subsystems as well as adaptation of software and hardware in the library

·         To develop new computer programmes for library internal needs

·         To maintain software and hardware as well as perform its servicing

·         To service Windows NT, e-mail servers

·         To maintain the link between the library (local) computer network and Internet network, dissaminate the information accumulated in the library through the Internet.
